If you get a report from more than one man, you naturally get conflicting reports. If there is one thing I have learned, since finding this website, is that everyone saw this war in a differant light. I have discovered that you could've been standing right next to a buddy, and not have seen the same thing. That doesn't mean that anyone is wrong, it only means that this war did differant things to differant people. So when we tell our stories, they are never alike. I was not a Hero in this war, and I seen no Heroes. What I seen was a bunch of, scared, half grown boys, that was dumped in a God forsaken country, that no one cared about, that was trying like Hell to survive. In the prosess, they did some couragious things, but it was not to be a hero, it was to save their asses, and their buddies, so they could come home alive. unfortuninatly, it did not work out for all of us. I thank God every day, that I was one of the lucky ones, and I grieve every day for the ones that wasn't. Good luck on your research. Jerry 67-68
