Just learned that Jim passed away in Nov. of this year. Jim was with Charlie Co.( boat person,) in Hq Platoon. He had something to do with commo.Lived in Baileys Harbor Wis.Was hit on 5-5-68 also.Nice guy.A good friend back then, we visited each other in the hospital.He was good for the moral.Always smilin'.....

I remember "Tish" well. He was always in the field with us. He is pictured in the photo below on the left. I took this photo before going out with the VTR to blow a disabled track. Before the track was to be destroyed, he was to remove whatever commo stuf was salvagable. I think back to those missions when I manned the .50 Cal sitting up in the VTR like a big target! Image
