Preparing to enter the dedication ceremony for the Battalion's new "Regimental Room" are Jay Copley and Jim Fitzgerald.

This was an emotional time for these two men, reunited for the first time in 39 years.  On May 5th, 1968, then Charlie Company Commander CPT Jay Copley had roared into the Battle of An Bao to rescue Jim and fellow Alpha Company men being slaughtered by an overwhelming NVA Force.  The enemy had ceased fire to allow Charlie Company to enter the battle unaware of the logistics.  Jim recalls CPT Copley asking "Where are the enemy"...and Jim's Response, just before the massive enemy fires began anew was "They're all around us!"
