In my final days with the Battalion...before my transfer to the Delta, I was assigned to the Charlie Company Motor Pool and often manned the Fifty Calibre Machine Gun on VTR missions to the field to recover dissabled M113 APCs. The next few photos were taken on one such mission, the Company Motor Sergeant, Cecil Montgomery, got his VTR stuck in a rice paddie and came ever so close to having the water run inside through the TC Hatch! After being towed out by a second VTR...Cecil saw me taking pictures and laughed at the whole mess!
