Preparing to head out for APC Retrieval...Bottom Center... Charlie Company Maintenance NCO Staff Sergeant Cecil Montgomery. I do not recall the names of the other men pictured here. We took 3 VTRs to the field for this mission and were accompanied by one or two Infantry squad APCs. I manned the 50 Calibre on one of the VTRs. (That is not me on the pictured 50 Calibre)...I recall feeling like a target sitting up there basically unprotected.
