Hi all, just wanted to share the article that Ron Fischer wrote about my Dad, Randy, who passed away last August.

Wonderful article. Proud and honored to have served right beside Randy (literally), slept in the same poncho hooch, drank from the same canteen, shared the same food and scared beyond belief together. No matter what the situation, Randy's concern was always his men first. RIP brother.

Randy was a friend indeed. He was a very good Medic when working without our APCs and going into a rural villages seen him many time treat villagers for one thing or another .

The person bending over behind Randy's rifle is Stan Waluek and the person with hand on hip watching Stan ( no shirt ) is Harley Mick Hawkins the two in front of the jeep the first one I'm not sure about the other is Lt. Blockburger
