We learned today that my former "C" Company Commander, COL Herbert Randall (Retired) passed away on Valentine's day from an aggressive cancer. The death has been announced as well as the funeral home...but arrangements for services are still pending. I will post an appropriate obituary within a week or so.

I served under CPT Randall as the 3rd Platoon leader in January and February 1968. He was a good leader and a good soldier and a true patriot. He will be missed.
