I plan to be there George and it will be great to see you again. I hope Toby Milroy is able to come with me but will have to wait and see. Randy.

Robert Melendez and I will be there. I just chatted with him a little while ago and I will be flying to Austin to meet up with him. We will drive from there to Phenix City. I will update later as we firm up our plans but would like to maybe caravan with others that might be on our route. This will also be a kind of commemorative trip also as we drove to Benning for our last Army assignment 40 years ago. I left from Portland, OR, picked him up in San Jose, CA and made our way to Columbus. It was quite an adventure back then.

Robert and I will still be showing up but in the end we had to bag the driving idea. Unfortunately our schedules would not mesh well enough to make it work .

Hey George, as it stands right now Toby Milroy and I will be there. We intend to be there on Tuesday and will have to leave Friday night for a commitment in Indiana on Sunday. See you all soon!!!

Well, I'm still going to be there but it was nip and tuck for a while. I came as close to winning the lottery as I ever will. An all expense paid (nearly) 6 night/7 day stay at the Kaiser Hilton, Sunnyside due to a Staph infection in my leg. IV antibiotics twice a day. Was in ER twice and admitted the second time. Got out Thursday and am still on oral antibiotics until I get back home. Had an appointment with the Doc today and said he was OK with me going to the reunion. My arms look like I'm a drug addict I got stuck so many times. Did I ever mention how much I hate needles???? I told them too, but those blood sucking vultures showed up every morning @ 4 AM to drain some more. At least I'm on the mend and on to Ft. Benning!
