Dear brothers,

I was informed today That Rick Leland of B-Co ( March 7 1970 to july 7th 1970 ) Had passed away of an apparent
massive heart attack on June 19th. Rick was medivaced in July of 70 stateside from a foot wound he recieved in the field.

I have pass on some of the other information to Jim Sheppard.


Rick was a good soldier and long time friend, he willbe truly missed !!

Although I was there earlier than Rick I have enjoyed his pictures on the website many times. The pics of the Tiger and python were I believe those of Ricks. I'm sorry to hear of his passing and sad to lose another brother of 1/50th. RIP Rick.
