Enemy soldiers killed during "D" Company's Battle of LZ Litts, March 9, 1968. Intelligence reported they were members of the 8th Battalion, 22nd NVA Regiment. Although the Daily Staff Journal for the night recorded an enemy body count of 31, "D" Company men all confirm much higher body counts... one reported 71 bodies while another man claimed to have counted even more. The Association Archives has a half dozen gruesome photos of the dead enemy soldiers which point to the eyewitness body counts being accurate.
