In April 1970 Ray Sarlin went home on emergency leave and Cpt. Willie Hunters took over C company. I'm not sure how long he was there he is not listed as one of our commanders.
Willie had been a sgt. in Nam with the specical Forces (Macv-sog) before 1970 had went to OCS and then back to Nam.
Any one remember Willie?

According to Ron Leraas, 2LT Willie Hunter was XO of Charlie Company until Ron took the position. He would have assumed command duties in the absence of the Company Commander.
