Sometime during the summer of 1966, I was in the tower running the M60 machine gun range for Charlie Company. Tracers ingited a wild fire which we helps extinguished. This photo appeared in a local newspaper... I am the PFC in front using a small branch with leaves on it to swat out the advancing flames.
