Military payment certificates (MPCs) were a form of currency used to pay US military personnel in foreign countries during the Vietnam War. They were used from 1946 to 1973, from a few months after the end of World War II until a few months after the end of US involvement in the Vietnam War. I saved these two bills. Believe it or not, they are worth much more than their former face value to collectors today. Some "First Printing" bills are worth over $50.00 if in pristine condition.
