My Steel Pot Helmet. I wrote "đại úy" on the camo cover because when wearing the 50th Infantry Crest Vietnamese people often thought I was a Captain!
Not unusual...as I remember we were often saluted by people in our own military who thought...at a slight distance...that the 50th Infantry Distinctive Unit Insignia was Captains Bars!
