Fraudulent messages being sent

Postby Jim Sheppard » Mon Sep 01, 2025 3:31 pm

Folks,

By now, I believe most of us are aware of the many different types of email fraud, hacking and cloning that are seemingly a "part of the computer age".
Never open links or attachments that are unexpected... seemingly coming from someone you know. This is just common sense.
There is a "phishing attempt" circulating again claiming to be from Association President Jimmy Segars. The header usually claims to be a "secure message".
Simply disregard these messages. If you suspect the sender is legitimate, simple call him on the phone ( All officers phone numbers are on our website "Contact Officers" page.

Below is the text from a fraudulent email that is circulating currently:

You've received an secure message from 1st Battalion 50th Infantry Association.
