Added Review of the book "To The Limit - An Air Cav Huey Pilot in VIETNAM", to the Vietnam Era Books Review page. This book is one of the best I have read this past year and deserving of a read! The writing style is riviting and has you understanding a little bit more about those birds we all knew so well. Author Tom Johnson was with "A" Company, 229th AHB Stationed at LZ English during our time with the 1st Cav. He may very well have flown many of us! I have posted links to the book on Amazon.com as well as Tom's personal web site...where you can order an autographed copy. Added evidence of 1st Armored Rifle Battalion, 50th Infantry, which was a training unit with the 2nd Armored Division at Fort Hood Texas in 1958 to the Unit History Page. Of interest is a recently obtained yearbook for the Battalion dated 1958. Within the Album, a photo history of the unit that year includes HQ Company as well as 4 rifle Companies....A, B, C, and D!...interesting that this configuration returned briefly during 1967 & 1968. I am submitting a request to Random House (Ballantine Books) for permission to copy those pages that deal with 50th Infantry elements....as they will make an excellent addition to our website's historical account of the 50th Infantry. I've not been bothering to list all the page changes I've made recently...as there has been little in the way of content change...just .html improvement and some new graphics. Today, however...while checking the pages for the "E" and "F" units, I dug out an old folder I have been putting anything pertaining to these two units into. I discovered an e-mail exchange between me and John Ryan, a former "F"/Security Company member who wrote to me 1 week before the 2003 reunion. In the "hubbub" of activity back then, I filed it away and completely forgot all about it! I have Added a compilation of his comments which support the existence of Company "F" Security after all.
