The 1st Battalion (Mechanized), 50th Infantry Association

Members of the Association will strive to preserve the memory of those who served in the "Ichiban" Battalion. We honor those who fell in battle in our Memorial section. In this section, we honor those of our number who have fallen since. Rest in peace, Brothers!

We were travelers on a journey
We were Brothers on the road
We were here to help each other
Walk the mile and bear the load.

You fought the good fight well and true
In Vietnam and later strife
With my last breath I'll salute you
Enjoy the peace you earned in life.

First stanza adapted from Richard Gillard's "The Servant Song", 1977.
